Kristina is an educator, choreographer, and director residing in San Diego, CA. Originally from Kansas, she is the founder and director of the Wichita Flight showchoir. Flight was uniquely established as Wichita's only competitive showchoir, hoping to give students in the Wichita area the opportunity to participate in the arts in a way that wasn't offered in their community before. The group is a non profit organization comprised of students from 17 area high schools that meet once per week. In 2016, they received the honor of being named “Most Promising New Program” at the FAME Aspire awards.
Kristina also serves as a choreographer and clinician for various high school and community groups throughout Kansas and the Midwest. Some highlights have included having choreography featured on the Today Show, staging the Miss Kansas Outstanding Teen Pageant, serving as a lead dance instructor and choreographer for Christian Youth Theater – Wichita, and creating the Smorgaschorus Barbershop 2017 national competition show.
Before the founding of Flight, she taught 5th grade in Maize, KS. In addition to teaching, Kristina loves to travel, read, and spend time with her furry pal, Taquito.
A dancer, choreographer, singer, and actor, Erik has been involved with music theater and showchoir since age 8. Growing up in northern Indiana, he embraced new challenges living and performing in Chicago while he completed his BS in Music Business, Business Administration, and Vocal Music at Elmhurst College. Inspirations in the community and industry dance worlds coaxed him to move to San Diego in 2011 to further his training. Erik moved to LA a year later to pursue the commercial dance industry. Since then, he has performed in various projects around LA. Some professional credits include music videos for Pharrell Williams and Alyson Stoner, television appearances on GLEE, The Voice, and The Good Place, national commercials for Xfinity and The GAP, and live events like the ALMA and Grammy Awards. Throughout his years, Erik has developed a rich passion for education and mentorship, and is honored to teach in many cities across the US.
